WELCOME
I am a qualified counsellor, offering both online and face-to-face sessions to individuals, couples and groups. I offer a confidential, supportive and non-judgemental environment to support you to gain clarity and a deeper understanding of yourself.
I understand that it may seem daunting to begin therapy and it may be hard to reach out. Whether you would like to get support for emotional health or personal growth, I would invite you to contact me, so that we can have a relaxed, brief chat about what you are looking for in your therapeutic journey.
Please read on for more information about me and the help I offer. Feel free to contact me with any enquiries you may have.
MY APPROACH
I am passionate about psychological and emotional wellbeing.
I believe that we all have the capacity for positive change and personal growth. I adopt an empathic, compassionate and respectful approach. It is important that we build a trusting relationship so that you feel safe to explore anything that might be troubling you, and get the best out of your sessions.
My style is collaborative and focused on here-and-now, while exploring the past experiences when it feels relevant. This also involves paying attention to past/present relational experiences (including the therapeutic relationship).
My approach is integrative, underpinned by Transactional Analysis. Transactional Analysis is a versatile and efficient approach to therapy which incorporates important aspects of different types of modalities (humanistic, cognitive behavioural and psychoanalytic). This type of therapy is very versatile as it can be used as a solution-focused approach or it can also be applied to long-term therapy.
